Personal Events

The list below includes some of the different types of ceremonies that I can conduct.

However, if this list does not include something you would like a ceremony for, then please get in touch, it may be something new to me but I am open to looking at your ideas and putting together a ceremony for your needs.

  • Anniversaries – celebrating and remembering events, whether a happy event like a wedding or adoption, a life changing event, or a sad event
  • Awards – recognition of achievements such as graduation, professional qualifications or winning an award
  • Blessings – a place, an object, an animal, a person or a milestone
  • Birthdays – honouring all ages, young or old
  • Cleansing – cancelling the pain and celebrating new beginnings
  • Coming of age – The transition of childhood to youth or young to old
  • Croning/wise woman – usually performed at the transition of turning 50 and entering the age of wisdom
  • Divorce – separation and new beginnings alone or with family and friends
  • Engagement – declaration of intent to marry
  • Farewell – whether due to resignation, relocation or change of lifestyle
  • Internment/Scattering of ashes – these are not normally performed at a cremation as the ashes are normally picked up at a later date
  • We are launching – Whether boats, businesses, buildings or bestowing of a name
  • Mens ceremonies or womens ceremonies
  • Pets welcome – welcoming a new pet to the family
  • Family member welcome – when a child is adopted or welcomed to the family for another reason
  • Reunions – celebrating the reunion, the past together and the future
  • Four elements ceremonies – fire, water, air and earth can be used during many different types of ceremony
