My name is Ros and I have had a varied journey through my career, including working in advertising, wedding and event planning and television.

When I worked in the wedding and hospitality industry I was lucky enough to meet many people at important points in their life and be able to help them make those moments special and memorable in the way they envisaged them.

When my own mom passed away, I decided it was time to do something I really loved so studied to become a celebrant. Now I can offer those services bespokely at a time and a place to suit you, tailored perfectly to your needs, with sincerity, empathy and care.

Celebrating a Unity

As a celebrant its exciting to be a part of putting together a unique wedding ceremonies that reflect the couple’s love story, beliefs, and personalities. This can include traditional, Modern, non-religious, interfaith, or themed weddings. I believe the wedding is about the people and their love and therefore the unity of two people of any faith, gender or belief will be treated with equal respect and care.

Baby Naming

Baby Naming Ceremonies: Ceremonies of any size, whether a handful of people or everyone in your address book, to welcome a new child into the family. This may include naming the child, making promises to the child, and including symbolic rituals.

Adoption Ceremonies: Adopting a child into the family is a huge milestone for all involved therefore its a fabulous occasion to celebrate the legal and emotional joining of an adopted child into the new family.

Adult Naming Ceremonies: For a variety of reasons an adult may who wish to change their name or mark a new chapter in their life

Funeral Services: The loss of a loved one is a difficult time for all involved and designing and officiating personalized funeral ceremonies that honor the life of the deceased, reflecting their personality, values, and the wishes of the family is an absolute honour and one that is always approached with empathy and respect.

Lost Babies: The loss of a baby before birth can be hard to accept and to work through the feelings this brings. Sharing this with your loved ones can help recognise the importance that life held for you.

Memorial Services: These ceremonies are held after the burial or cremation, often to allow a broader group of people to gather and remember the deceased. These can be held shortly after the burial or cremation or at a later date when they may be more of a celebration.

Celebration of Life: Crafting a more informal and positive ceremony focused on celebrating the life and legacy of the deceased.

Like many I know how hard losing a pet is, they are a member of our family and much loved.

I can help with honouring the life of a beloved pet with a ceremony that acknowledges the bond and provides closure.
